What is portable vascular dopplers ?
Vascular Doppler, also known as Doppler ultrasound, is a noninvasive test that can be used to measure your blood flow and blood pressure by bouncing high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) off circulating red blood cells.
A regular ultrasound uses sound waves to produce images, but can't show blood flow. A Doppler ultrasound, however, can show how blood cells move through your blood vessels. It can help doctors evaluate blood flow through major arteries and veins, such as those of the arms, legs, and neck.
It’s often used to diagnose many conditions, including blood clots, poorly functioning valves, venous insufficiency, arterial blockage by plaque, congenital heart disease, bulging arteries, or narrowing of a blood vessel. In pregnancy, Doppler ultrasound may be used to look at blood flow in an unborn baby (fetus) to check the health of the fetus.
In essence, it's a safe, painless and usually non-invasive procedure that helps doctors evaluate blood flow to our body's vital organs and assess how well blood is flowing through your vessels.
BESTMAN BV series ultrasound Dopplers’Parameters Definition:Blood flow waveform: it can check the blood flow status;
Blood flow intensity: it is to judge whether the blood flow is unobstructed or not by observing the intensity of the indicator light and the sound;
BESTMAN BV series ultrasound Dopplers’ Parameters Definition : Blood flow speed: it is an important physiological parameter of the human body. It has important reference value for disease research and clinical
diagnosis. The reference value is as follows:
• Arterial blood flow velocity of upper extremity: 40-160cm/s;
• The average velocity of peak blood flow of brachial artery: 75.00+-22.00cm/s;
• Peak blood flow velocity of radial artery: 42.5+-12.50cm/s;
• Peak blood flow velocity of ankle artery: 42.0+-14cm/s;
• Peak dorsal artery blood flow velocity: 40.0+-11.5cm/s;
BESTMAN BV series ultrasound Dopplers’Parameters Definition: Pulse rate: The pulse rate of a normal person is equal to the heart rate, and the pulse rate of an adult is 60-100 beats per minute. There is a slight difference between men and women. The pulse rate of women is generally faster than that of men; the pulse rate of the elderly is slower,55-60 beats per minute for elderly; the pulse rate of infants and young children is relatively fast,120-140 beats per minute. Reference range of blood viscosity:
• Male: 3.43-5.07mPa.s
• Female: 3.01-4.29mPa.s
